Competency Driven Organisation
One of the key HR initiatives is to establish GLT as a competency driven organisation. Based on the vision, mission and business objectives competencies have been identified that successfully deliver on the various goals. Competencies assist in making better hiring decisions and bring about a better fit between the role and the individual, thereby improving on the job performance. They also enable refining the training and development plans, and in the long run support the establishment of competency or skill based compensation plans.
