Corporate Social Responsibility

GLT prides itself in being a sensitive and responsible corporate citizen. Over the years, we have participated in projects for primary and secondary education, helping victims of natural calamities, community development programs and environment conservation, with NGOs and like-minded institutes.

The Helping Hands Mela (fair) is HSBC India’s initiative to help NGOs raise funds. GLT is a participant in the Helping Hands Mela and with the continuous support of our associates; GLT bagged the ‘Best NGO Product Sales’ award for the last two consecutive years.

Our associates regularly volunteer for community development programs particularly concerning the underprivileged. Environment conservation is a priority for us in the CSR space and ‘Investing in Nature’ is a $50 million eco-partnership initiative taken by the HSBC Group, spread over five years in this direction. Investing in Nature supports Botanic Gardens Conservation International, Earthwatch Institute, and the WWF.

As a leading corporate in the city, GLT recognizes its responsibility towards Pune. Organizing blood donation camps with our associates and city-cleaning events are some ways in which we serve the community.
